Climate Investment Funds Pledges Hit $8.3 billion; to Continue Operating Alongside GCF

A new blog post by Climate Investment Funds (CIF) Program Manager Mafalda Duarte highlightss a fresh infusion of contributions to the Climate Investment Funds amounting to approximately $765 million.

Ms. Duarte writes: “The new pledges, which push the CIF’s total contributions to over $8.3 billion, are a vote of confidence in the work that the CIF is doing to trigger investments at scale for immediate climate action in 63 middle income and developing countries and to facilitate learning on the technologies and methods needed to mitigate and manage the effects of climate change, especially in the poorer countries of the world.”
